Yes. The text is destroyed on submission. Only its digest survives.

Does this actually absolve me?

We are contractually unable to answer this question.

How can you forgive a sin that hasn't happened yet?

The certificate is valid from the moment of purchase. The sin is valid whenever you are ready.

What if I never commit the sin?

The absolution remains unspent. It does not expire. It waits.

Who prays for me?

Can I get a refund?
